Your beauty and majesty make you the centerpiece of hundreds of Texas communities and the apple of my eye. You draw me in to quaint downtowns and charming Main streets. I just can’t help myself.

But my love goes deeper than your outward beauty. When Texas was young, your individual charms set each county apart. Now, you set apart the whole state. Texas has the most historic courthouses in the country! You help tell the real stories of the Lone Star State, from Presidio to Potter, Cameron to Cass – and every county in between. No wonder we Texans are so proud!

What's simple is true: there's a whole lot to love when it comes to you. How lucky I am to have these remarkable Texas treasures in my life.
